Hey guys, another rumor here. According to digitimes, Sciphone from China is going to sell the Android-powered Dream G2 handset soon with a price tag of $179. There’s no word yet that this phone is going to be available outside China. The Sciphone Dream G2 is said to run on Android Home edition V1.0 and comes with GSM/EDGE support, 16GB flash memory, and Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube applications and will not include a physical keyboard.Android-powered Dream G2 Phone.
Rumored to have a fully touchscreen display device with haptic feedback, 3.2-megapixel camera, 140MB of internal memory, and GPS functionality. The Nokia Tube aka the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia is rumored to be announced on the 2nd October next month in London and it is said to be available by the end of 2008.
Another rumor for today will be the next-gen PSP. The rumor is about the UMD, the UMD will be replace with flash with 8 or 16GB. There’s still no news on the touchscreen. Sony is also planning a suffix-based name for the new handheld, it is expected to launch in Japan in the September while US should be around late October or early November. There were rumors saying that there will be a new Vertu Signature mobile phone to be released soon. The luxury phone is said to support 3G and WiFi connectivity and also, will come with a bright QVGA OLED with 320 x 240 pixels that supports 16 million colors, Bluetooth, VoIP, WCDMA dual-band 2100/850 MHz and GSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequencies. Rumor says: Sony is recently working on the next-gen touch Walkman mobile phone. The flying words said that it will feature 16 and 32GB of storage and will be the new spearhead music player at Sony. It is also claimed as the iPod Touch competitor as it has WiFi connectivity and support various music and video formats. There will be an integrated web browser which allows you to download music from Amazon store and a Sony online store is expected as well. FM radio is available too.
After unboxing E71, I heard news about the Nokia E72 and E75. The E72 is a QWERTY the successor to E71, while the E75 features a hybrid form factor featuring both a normal keypad and a slide-out side QWERTY. Both of them were believed to have a built-in GPS receivers and advanced email capabilities. Earlier today there’s an video preview but too bad, it has been removed. 2day’s rumors about HTC Touch HD. Yes, there are rumors about HTC Touch HD, leaked shots were found in the net. The HTC Touch HD is one of the iPhone competitors, it has a fullscreen touch panel with WVGA (800X480) resolution.
Here are some leaked shots from nedge2k.com of the upcoming HTC T8290. The front design looks similar to the touch diamond but with a larger screen. The HTC T8290 is said to be a GSM + WiMax device, comes with 3.8-inch display screen with an impressive 800 x 480 WVGA resolution, built in WiFi and Bluetooth. There’s a printed sales brochure from ThePhoneHouse in Netherland showing a LG’s new full touch screen phone the LG Arena (KM900) for Europe. The phone will hit the stores in March which probably be announced in Mobile World Congress. The LG Arena comes with a 5.0-megapixel camera, built in A-GPS, WiFi and a new S-Class 3D user interface. The camera module is said to be able to record high quality video format.
Remember the Nokia E75 leaked last year? Finally the leaked shots arrived. The QWERTY slide phone is rumored to have a 2.4 inch display with 240 x 320 pixels, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.2 MP camera with flash, 3.5mm headset jack, microSD and a 1050 mAh battery.
