JVC Malaysia has just quietly released a new plasma tv, the PD-Z50DX4 which sports a 50-inch W-XGA (1366 x 768 pixel) DynaPix wide display with D.I.S.T (Digital Image Scaling Technology) for high-resolution picture. It has quite a slot for component IN, S-Video IN, AV-IN, PC-IN, HDMI, Centre CH IN, AV-OUT, Subwoofer OUT and a Headphones. It also features a computer controlled FASTEXT and 40W total RMS output. LG revealed the specs of its upcoming 42-inch Flatron M4200D display that provides auto-stereoscopic images (similar to the iFusion 3D) to onlookers without the need of a style-hindering glasses. It comes with full-HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 1600:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness, and 8ms response time. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Panasonic Japan introduce three new 50″, 42″ and 37″model of VIERA Link plasma tv, the TH-50PX60 which hold resolution of 1366 x 768, TH-42PX60 with resolution of 1024 x 768 and TH-37PX60 which can support resolution of 1024 x 720. It has a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and it will reach a maximum ratio of 10000:1 in dark environment. It also has a SD memory card slot to display still images and also 1080p remote control signal input. This three big baby going to cost you approximately 300,000Yen (USD2622) to 500,000Yen (USD4369).
Korea Samsung announced the released of their new 50″ wireless HD PDP TV. You does not need to use any cable connect your peripherals to this TV, so there’s no more ugly looking cable behind the TV. The wireless AV center, which do the data transfer through IEEE 802.11a network to the TV. The wireless home AV center can be connected with various AV devices like antenna, VCR, DVD, set-top or other AV devices through connectors convert image signals to wireless transmit signals and will transmit them to the PDP TV. Here’s Samsung new released “Bordeaux” a HDTV feature of a 10000:1 contrast out. It comes with HDMI ports, one at the front and two the back. The Samsung Super PVA Panel is provided to achieve the 10000:1 contrast ration. The Samsung Bordeaux comes in the choices of 32” and 40” LCD display and they are currently available in Korea.
