A onda dos celulares com TV digital chegou mesmo para ficar. Depois de LG e Semp Toshiba, a Samsung também resolveu ampliar a linha. A empresa está lançando o modelo StarTV i6220 (preço sugerido: R$ 899), o terceiro da Samsung que consegue captar os sinais 1-Seg da TV digital brasileira.

Diferente do i6210 (que continua em linha custando o mesmo preço), o novo aparelho já oferece a tão procurada interface touchscreen e câmera de 3.2 megapixels (contra a de 2 megapixels do irmão mais velho). Vale destacar também as funções Face Detection (que identifica rostos na imagem e deixa as faces mais nítidas e iluminadas) e Smile Shot (que dispara o clique quando um sorriso é detectado).

No Brasil, o padrão é o SBTVD-T. Na Europa, o sistema de TV Digital é o DVB-T. Em comum o sistema de transmissão terrestre (daí a letra T nos dois padrões). Resumidamente, o sinal das torres de TV se espalham e são captados por antenas UHF. Basta ter um decoder digital para ver as imagens sem chuviscos, interferências e com até 1080i de resolução, a chamada HDTV. Mas só os canais abertos são recebidos gratuitamente. Já para TV paga e seus canais HD, nos resta a opção de assinar planos das operadoras de cabo ou satélite.

Na Inglaterra, a novidade é que a TV Digital Terrestre passou a incluir também os canais pagos fechados. É a chamada TV Digital Terrestre por assinatura. Ou seja, com a mesma antena que recebemos o sinal aberto, receberemos também os sinais da TV fechada, claro, pagando por isso. Basta que o receptor digital (externo ou embutido no TV) traga entrada para cartão PCMCIA.

It has 16-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors, and 14-bit A/D data conversion, all at 10 frames-per-second (fps), with the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date. The Canon EOS 1D Mark IV supports 1080p Full High-Definition video capture at selectable frame rates. It will be available by the end of December, priced at $4999. That’s 5K, woohoo! The little LCD can also come out with silly animations to amuse a child subject, or a countdown for the self timer. Microsoft has unveiled its first HD consumer web camera for PCs, the LifeCam Cinema. Unlike regular webcams, this webcam is capable of capturing HD video in 1280 x 720 resolution at 30fps. It features a glass lens, autofocus, 4x digital zoom, a USB 2.0 interface, a noise canceling microphone and a Windows Live call button. The body itself is made out of aluminum, while its stand works with both desktop PCs and notebooks. Not to worry, the device works perfectly with Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Movie Maker as well as Windows Live Photo Gallery. In addition, it’s also compatible with Windows 7, apart from Windows Vista and Windows XP. The LifeCam Cinema is expected to hit stores on September 9th for around $80.
